Sorry for the delay in posting. I started out so strong and then life got in the way. My mom had surgery and stayed with us while she recovered. Then unexpectedly my grandfather passed away. He was such a good, inspirational man and was loved by so many. As my dad said, Papa is watching over this little one and protecting him/her.
On Tuesday (March 6th), Chris & I went for another sono. I was 7 weeks, 3 days. During the visit we heard the most amazing sound ever - our baby's heartbeat! OMG, it was so strong, I thought for sure it had to be mine. But you could see it on the screen and the doctor assured me it was the baby's. The screen shot of the baby looked good, but when I was to compare it to the previous weeks - wow; our 'little Fuffs' almost doubled in size! The doctor did see a blood clot during the ultrasound, which he said was nothing to worry about, but that he wanted me to follow-up with another sono. 90% of the time the blood clot is just absorbed and there is nothing to worry about. The surprise at the end is he told me I 'graduated' and it was time for me to go see my regular OB/GYN.
I feel good, no complaints. I did get sick on Weds, poor Chris I was such a joy on his bday, and ended up in bed by 9am, but who knows why. The breasts are still unbelievably sore and I am exhausted, but that is all good, makes me 'feel pregnant'.
