Nothing sounds sweeter then hearing the sound of your baby's heartbeat. Today I got to hear it again, when I went for my follow-up ultrasound. This time I could actually see it too. Such a little flutter on the screen but oh sooo cute! So after seeing my baby and hearing the heartbeat for the last few weeks I don't get another sneak peak until week twenty. Everything looks great. I am in my 8th week, 8 weeks 4 days. The baby is measuring 7 weeks 4 days and according to my conception date - that is perfect, right on schedule. The u/s tech said that puts my estimated due date at October 27, 2007. That would make the baby a Scorpio.
I am feeling good, a bit dizzy now and then, but no new symptoms.
Edited to add: The reason I had a follow-up u/s was the blood clot they had seen last week. Anyway it is gone! They said 90% are just absorbed and the tech couldn't see it any longer. What a relief! Chris says now I can sleep again at night.
