Beginning of the fetal period

All is well here; not much new to report. I am 10 weeks 2 days and according to the books the baby is no longer an embryo. Saturday night was a bit scary though. Chris and I had gone for a nice dinner and afterwards went to the Cheesecake Factory. We were on line to get some to go (they have a yummy sugar-free cheesecake with fresh strawberries) and I got very hot. I had to take my jacket off and lean against the counter. My head was spinning and I broke out in a cold sweat. It took all I had to not get sick right then and there. I had to leave immediately and was worried I would pass out on the way to the car. Thankfully, the cool fresh air helped and I started to feel better. Don't know what brought this on, but it was an awful feeling and I am glad it didn't last too long.

Today was a gorgeous day. I twisted Chris' arm to take a nice long walk around the neighborhood after dinner. Hopefully this can become a common occurrence. The nice weather made me realize I need to get some spring/summer clothes - of which I have none. I am going to try and hold off as long as I can. My clothes fit fine now, I hope that lasts awhile.

I am getting excited because in two weeks we plan on telling people. I am thrilled to share the news with our friends and extended families.
